Catch and Chaos is a co-op game where players share a keyboard to control a mother chasing her mischievous child.

Character Select Screen

The selected characters fading shader was set up in HLSL. So the character seamlessly blends from his silhouette to the rendered character

I implemented the UI to support Keyboard and Controller Controls at the same time while the UI seamlessly switches between the buttons

Toon Shader

This shader is designed to introduce bold shading effects, characterized by three distinct shading steps.

The shader is used for environment assets in the level to give the game a cartoony look

Slide System

Child Sliding

The child character can slide through wall vents by pressing a button.

To ensure smooth movement, colliders were briefly disabled, and vector math determined wall orientation
